Please give us a short summary of your website?

Sethweber.com is an online gallery of fine art work displaying portraits done in pencil, watercolor and oil paints. There are many other paintings and murals shown. Commission information is available on the site as well.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I wanted to share my art with others.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This is my first website and I put it together about a year ago.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I wanted it to be easy for people to find and remember.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

It is unique and full of original art work and painting of real people.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To continue to improve it to share my art and bring in commissions.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

It has been profitable

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I wouldnt.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Most likely. There might be a delay is service.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None so far.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Lack of visitors.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Using links to other sites and making sure my website contains many key words.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It has been easier than expected.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

It has been over a year and I hope to keep it going for several more.
