A wide collection of Nabil Lahoud's Art. Oil painting in Original pieces and reproduction posters and greetings cards

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Promoting the Egyptian contemporain fine art and to sell the original oil pieces and reproductions

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

1999 the egyptian fine art gallery and was free website host, now it is by annual fees

How did you decide on a name for your website?

based on the concept of egyptian identity and oriental art spirit

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

its including several art work & articles writen about fine art in english and arabic

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

well

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

i will try to do an online payment and recap other artists and make kind of Fine art Mall

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

yes

on line banner advertising

What has been your biggest challenge?

exporting egyptian fine art on line

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

adding my URL in several free list and art sites

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

slow response over years

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

i will continue as i can in low profile

are you need an art dealer to sell your art with commission?

Sure the main role of artist is to create not to searching a market, its the role of the art dealer
