Juan Luna is a famous Filipino painter who had been a great part if the Philippine history. His major masterpiece was the Spoliarium. Juan Luna brought great acknowledgement for Filipinos' great deeds in the olden times. I actually admire him for beings strong enough in surpassing controversies about his paintings. When I personally look at his masterpiece, Spoliarium I have mixed emotions seeing those corpse of the defeated gladiators. But, it was truly a magnificent painting. Juan Luna is an exceptionally noble person and Filipinos will highly recognize him all the time. Some of his paintings are La Batalla de Lepanto,La Batalla de Lepanto and Rendicion de Granada.Link: Art and Artists: FS: Juan Luna Paintings, Philippines f

The country of Chile has a lot of literary scene. The Chilean was very talented especially when it comes to literature. Someday, I wish that I could visit the country of Chile. That was one of my dreams in life and of course for me to see in person my inspiration and my idol in making poems who was "Pablo Neruda". I love to read poems especially those love poems. How I wish I could also make a beautiful poem. And I want to go in Chile because I also want to know more about the Chilean culture.Link: Learning More About Neruda and Mistral (culture); Chile

This is indeed true. I came to visit Costa Rica way back in 2005. I actually visited a cousin who is an expat and who happened to marry a Costa Rican. She and her husband toured me around the country. The place was so great and there were so many nice places to go to. Not to forget of course, our visits to the museums and theaters. One that I could hardly forget is the Teatro Nacional in San Jose, it was truly a work of art. We also watched the National Symphonic Orchestra performed that night. It was so memorable! And the performance was nearly perfect!Link: Teatro Nacional in San Jose (culture); Central America
