In this hard times in the economy worldwide, investors fear that their savings could suddenly disappear so their are moving their money into something more tangible unlike stocks and bonds said Chris Bond on his article on the Yorkshire Post.

Art market slows down

The art market may have been receiving large growths in recent quarters, but it will still have to be affected, to a certain degree, by the ongoing financial crisis in some of the world's most economically advanced nations.

It's already showing, with art sales failing short of the lowest estimates, something we have not seen in the world for quite a while. A special report about this may be read in Reuters.

Ganged by Cops

Eric Winfield, graphic artist, filed a lawsuit against 3 police officer in Denver, for breaking his nose and permanent nerve damage due the handcuffs on an incident in lower downtown last October.

Winfield states that he was arrested when a bouncer from Le Rouge pointed him to the officers. and repeatedly punched and handcuffed for seven hours.

The city, Denver Police Department and Le Rouge as Co defendants are all included in the suit.

The Dollar is Zero

One cannot help but just think, what is the value of a dollar during these days of difficult economic times? Laura Gilbert, a well-known painter and printmaker, think its value is already zero.

She will distribute 10000 copies of these zero dollars in front of the New York Stock Exchange, just near Wall Street, where the financial institutions that brought down the economy is.
